The Office of Alumni Relations is dedicated to inspiring and supporting the work of Maxwell alumni as citizens and public servants, to fostering their affinity for the school, and to providing opportunities for professional and personal networking.

The Maxwell network is robust, and Maxwell is always bringing in different practitioners and alumni to the school to speak to its students. Students have the opportunity to speak with these individuals about their careers and also the challenges that they experienced after graduating.

You really get connected. Like, a couple of weeks ago, we had a alumni panel come and speak to us, and talk about what they're doing and what they did when they were in our shoes getting ready to graduate. And basically, their career trajectories, it's sort of crystallizing this Maxwell network beyond the friends that I've made.

The strength that Maxwell has is its very loyal and strong network of people that are willing to talk to you just because they have that shared sense of community. You might have graduated 10, 15 years apart from each other, but you have that shared sense of community. And you went through this rigorous program that Maxwell has. So they have respect and expectations from you because they know you went through Maxwell.

I've been asked throughout my career to talk with students, to give them advice, to hire them for internships, look at them for jobs. And it's actually been a very fruitful kind of source of talent for me. There's a lot of interaction between current students and the alumni.
