The range of opportunities that are available to mid-career graduate students to fill whatever gaps there may be in someone's professional background or to enhance those backgrounds through regular coursework, through certificate programs that are very specialized and more targeted to an area, or towards a broader executive education-type program that then yields at the end a master's degree or a graduate degree in any one of the number of fields for which these programs are offered.
They are very flexible in the way that you tackle the program. If you need to accelerate and take an extra class, there's some online options that you can use to augment your studies. If you need to slow down because you have too many things going on, you can drop back to taking one course. So there are really, really good about working with you to make sure that the courseware and the classes that you're doing meet your needs.
What's amazing is the diversity and the breadth among the student population. There are people five to seven years into their career, and there's people in their 50s and 60s at the end of their career. There are people from governments, and there are people who work for NGOs, and for defense industry, and for private businesses. The gender diversity is terrific. The international diversity is terrific.
The mid-carrer program at Maxwell is a program that will benefit any student that's looking to fill in gaps in their career path, any professional that is looking to expand their skills beyond their current career. The decision to come back to school is never an easy one. Remember that you're taking an opportunity to develop your career, which is something that's going to benefit you, whichever career path you decide to take in life.
